Start with one complete request
Write the exact collection and return dates and times, then list both handover locations. Add passengers, cases, expected mileage and the preferred vehicle. If you need a driver, waiting time or several stops, make that part of the request immediately.
Use the same brief for every comparison. Otherwise a lower quote may simply describe a shorter period, another model or less service. Save the responses together and ask for missing lines before deciding which arrangement suits the trip.
Compare daily and weekly rental windows
For a G-Wagon weekly rental price, request the full period rather than multiplying a daily figure. Ask how the proposed collection and return times are counted and what the weekly quote includes. A displayed rate is a starting point for inquiry; the named car and dates belong in the written quote.
Then compare the duration you actually need. A focused day in an SL and a full stay in a G63 serve different plans. If either could work, include the transport and handover arrangements required by the shorter option. A daily equivalent is informative only after the complete rental periods are clear.
Separate rental spend from the security amount
Keep two totals. The first is the rental spend: the quoted vehicle charge plus mandatory charges and the extras you choose. The second is the separate security requirement, whether described as a deposit, payment or card authorization in your agreement.
Ask how the security amount is collected, what can be deducted, what inspection or settlement happens at return and how release or repayment is handled. Do not treat it as an ordinary rental fee, and do not assume a particular release time. Record the answer beside the amount so the payment plan is as clear as the rental price.
Put mileage and handovers on separate lines
Record the included mileage for the actual rental period and the extra-mile charge. Estimate the whole route, including collection, return and outings. Ask how any mileage package changes the quote and how unused or additional miles are handled under the agreement.
List delivery or collection, return arrangements, requested driver time and other services individually when they apply. Ask which taxes or mandatory charges are already included. Keep fuel, tolls and parking responsibilities visible too; a vehicle total and the cost of using it throughout a stay are related but different figures.
Compare body styles after the scope is consistent
Price the vehicles that actually meet the passenger and luggage requirements. A G63 brings a different layout from an S-Class; a Maybach sedan differs from a GLS SUV; an SL needs its own roof and storage plan. A cheaper unsuitable option does not resolve the journey.
Name any essential cabin arrangement, equipment or color. Distinguish that from a preference you could change. If an alternative is offered, compare the revised model and service explicitly rather than accepting a category name as the whole description.
Use this quote comparison worksheet
Copy the rows below into a note and complete one column for each written quote. Leave an unknown line marked as a question; a blank should not silently become zero. Add the rental-charge lines only after you know what is already included, avoiding double counting.
Keep the security requirement outside that spending total. Record the quote date and any stated validity or confirmation step. If your dates or handover plan change, request an updated quote before using the old total to coordinate the rest of the visit.
| Comparison line | Quote A | Quote B |
|---|---|---|
| Named vehicle and essential specification | Record the actual car | Record the actual car |
| Collection and return | Dates, times and locations | Same scope |
| Quoted vehicle charge | Amount and rental period | Amount and rental period |
| Included mileage and extra miles | Allowance and calculation | Allowance and calculation |
| Mandatory charges and chosen services | Included or itemized | Included or itemized |
| Expected rental spend | Complete quoted total | Complete quoted total |
| Separate security requirement | Amount, collection and release terms | Amount, collection and release terms |
| Confirmation and changes | Availability, payment and change terms | Availability, payment and change terms |
Confirm the vehicle before making other plans depend on it
Take the completed comparison to Pugachev Miami with the preferred listing and dates. Request the named vehicle, full price, included mileage and both handovers in the confirmation. Review the rental policy and agreement alongside the quote so the same arrangement appears in each.
For a wedding, meeting or timed outing, make the schedule and any requested waiting service explicit. If the first vehicle is unavailable, use the essential requirements already recorded in the worksheet to assess an alternative. That keeps the decision focused on the journey rather than only a daily rate.
